Max Payne 3- Back to the Noir
Max Payne 3 ain’t going to be all sunshine and beautiful weather.
Rockstar today released two new screens from the game that shows off a level that’s set in the dark, dreary New York setting that we know the character so well from. He just looks at home here, doesn’t he?
Dig the lighting effects. I tried to boot up Max Payne 2 for shits and giggles a couple of months ago and though I still like the way the gunplay feels the graphics have not held up. Especially Payne’s “I JUST GOTTA HOLD IT IN TILL THE NEXT LEVEL” scrunchy face.
Max Payne grew hair!
Rockstar just sent over some new screenshots for Max Payne 3, and I was surprised to see him with a full head of hair. The first round of screenshots they released almost two years ago showed him with a bald, scarred head and a wifebeater, walking around in the sunlight (!) in São Paulo. Quite a different look from the last two games, but it looks like we’re going to get to experience what exactly made him so broken and crazy-looking.
