Kinda love this poster. It’s got the whole story right there, and Payne really looks like a broken man. Plus, anyone who says that you can’t do noir in sunlight clearly hasn’t seen Out of the Past. 

Rockstar just sent it over with word that the first full gameplay trailer will be hitting on Wednesday, September 14 at Noon EST. If their track record’s any indication it’ll be amazing. 

Max Payne 3 ain’t going to be all sunshine and beautiful weather.

Rockstar today released two new screens from the game that shows off a level that’s set in the dark, dreary New York setting that we know the character so well from. He just looks at home here, doesn’t he?

Dig the lighting effects. I tried to boot up Max Payne 2 for shits and giggles a couple of months ago and though I still like the way the gunplay feels the graphics have not held up. Especially Payne’s “I JUST GOTTA HOLD IT IN TILL THE NEXT LEVEL” scrunchy face.
